🍄Buttermilk Pancakes

Copied and adapted from Binging with Babish: Adventure Time Special



  • 285g all-purpose flour

  • 35g sugar

  • 1½ tsp baking powder

  • 1½ tsp baking soda

  • Good pinch of kosher salt


  • 2½ cups buttermilk

  • 2 eggs

  • 3 tbsp melted butter


  1. Whisk dry ingredients together

  2. Form a well in centre of dry ingredients using your finger

  3. Pour buttermilk and crack eggs into well

  4. Gently pour melted butter at the edge of the bowl while briskly stirring

  5. Continue stirring until batter becomes thick

    • Be careful not too overwhisk; lumps are perfectly fine.

  6. Cook pancakes with butter

    • The first side is finished when you start seeing bubbles on top and the edges look lightly browned
